How to design an Attractive Wearable

1. Are the old managers right? A lot of other wearable focus on counting steps or enabling apps. Is

that what this group should design, so as to be seen as a legitimate competitor and not confuse

customers, or should they design something different to be seen innovative.

 The old managers isn’t right, for me launching a product as soon as possible even though

the firm has a little experience on marketing is impossible. Moreover, the old managers

are uncertain. Customer satisfaction is the number one variable that they should consider

instead they only focus on making money with the unit. They should research more for

something different in their design for the wearable to be seen innovative.

2. Are the people in the room a good proxy for their customers? Are the young managers a better

proxy than older manager?

 Some people in the room is not a good proxy for the customers because they are only

looking from their point of view and could not relate to the potential customers. The

young managers is a better proxy than the older managers because he asked an important

question that should be considered in launching a wearable. It could affect the sales of the

company if they introduce the same wearable as the others.

3. What additional information would be helpful to strengthen a recommendation?

 We are now surrounded by technology in this generation. That’s why being innovative to

be different is necessary. When designing a wearable the company should be well

informed and understands the need of a potential user. Researching the user needs or

conducting a survey could help and strengthen the recommendation.

4. How would the information best be obtained?

 The research must not be rush for them to obtain their goals. They should launch a

product when they are certain and ready.
