Check the pump for approved make, model no, flow and head as per technical
1 submittal.

2 Check pumps are installed as per approved drawings.

Check pumps are installed on foundations with pads or on inertia base frame with
3 vibration springs or mountings as applicable.

Check adequate space available for the installation of valves, flexible connections /
4 Strainer, Meters, Gauges etc.

Verify that pressure gauges, test points, drain points are provided as per the
5 approved drawing.

Check the piping is supported independently and the load is not transferred to
6 pumps.

Check provisions with sockets are made for BMS peripheral like DP switch as per
7 data point schedule

Check adequate access available for maintenance of pumps including removal of

8 motor, pump impellers, couplings and other accessories.
Ensure strainers are installed correctly and sufficient space available for removal
9 and cleaning of strainers.

10 Check all nuts, bolts, etc. are tightened as required

11 Check all electrical wiring and grounding is completed and tightened as required.

Check the coupling alignment in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions /

12 specifications.

13 Check that coupling guards are provided as per the requirement.

1 Check all pipes used are as per approved material submittal and make.

2 Check pipes are installed as per approved drawings.

3 Check all piping is painted with one coat of primer and two coat of PO red

Check the spacing of supports, size of threaded rod is as per specifications and
4 approvals.

Check M S angle supports are coated with red oxide primer and subsequently with
5 enamel paint as per approval.

6 Check welded joints are welded properly

7 Check flange joints are joined with good quality gasket.

Check that only eccentric reducers with level side up are used for reduction in
8 pipe sizes in horizontal run and concentric reducers are used in vertical runs.

9 Check that installed piping is free of sags and bends

Check that gap is maintained between two parallel pipes to permit valve
10 servicing etc.

Flexible connectors are installed at equipment connections as per requirements /

11 approved drgs.
Check drains are installed as per specifications at the lowest point of risers,
12 branches and main lines.

14 Check strainers, valves etc. are installed correctly and as per approved drawings.

15 Check sleeves are installed for pipes passing through walls / partitions as required.

16 Check nuts, bolts, screws, brackets drop rods etc. are tight and aligned properly.

Installed piping is protected from damages for the remainder of the

17 construction period.
