Indirect Attainment 1; Course wise feedback: During the end semester examination a
feedback questionnaire is circulated among the students. A specimen of questionnaire consists of
seventeen questions is shown below. The overall weightage is given on five point scale which is
further converted to three point scale.

Indirect Attainment 2: Pass out Student’s feedback survey for POs/PSOs: An online
feedback survey to 2017-19 pass out batch was conducted for POs/PSOs attainment. The

PO3: Design/development of solutions
PO3 1.8 1.98 Attainment level has been reached. The following
actions are made in order to sustain this attainment
level.
Action 1: Making of solar car by technical team Revanta guided by manufacturing engineering society.
Action 2: Expert lecture on “AOD PROCESS How It Revolutionized Stainless Steel Making A Review
of History and Technology and Process” by Mr. Pani C Panigrahy on 25.01.2019 (Refer to Annexure
7C).
Action 4: Students are motivated to take up project work which would benefit the society.
PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems
PO4 1.8 1.90 Attainment level has been reached. The following
actions are made in order to sustain this attainment
level.

Action 1: In 7 and 8 semesters, many real time projects are given to the students and they are guided
by both faculty and Industry/Research personnel.
Action 2: Non-traditional Manufacturing Lab and FMS lab have been proPOsed 2019 (Refer to
Annexure 2A).
Action 3: Participation in Car making project organized by BAJA SAE India.
Action 4: Research Software Installation and Training on “ANSYS 2019” by Prof. Parag Bhargava on
28 JAN 2019 to 01 FEB 2019 2019 (Refer to Annexure 7D).
PO5:Modern tool usage
PO5 1.8 1.79 Attainment level is lower than the target one and thus
the following actions have been taken.
Action 1: Students were given exPOsure to design software’s viz. AutoCAD, ANSYS during the
laboratory classes.
Action 2: Non-traditional manufacturing laboratory and Flexible manufacturing laboratory proPOsal is
submitted under TEQIP III scheme and institute funding (Refer to Annexure 2A).
Action 3: A visit to MSME Indo Danish Tool Room, Jamshedpur where students were given exPOsure
to advanced manufacturing technology (Refer to Annexure 7A).
Action 4: Presentation organized in recent advanced Non-traditional manufacturing process.
Action 5: A 6 days’ workshop has been proPOsed to be held on 20-25 of May, 2019 where training will
be given to students on numerical and theoretical knowledge of advanced technology (Refer to
Annexure 5B).
Action 6: A workshop has been proPOsed to be held on 27th May to 1st June, 2019 where training will
be given to students on “Recent Developments In Surface Coatings And ComPOsite Materials” (Refer to
Annexure 5B).
PO6: The engineer and society
PO6 1.8 1.85 Attainment level is marginal. The following actions are
made in order to sustain and improve this attainment
level.
Action 1: "Cyber Crime: Challenge of the contemporary world" by Mr. Prabhat Kumar (IPS 2014) on
27/11/2018 at Computer Center sponsored by TEQIP III (Refer to Annexure 7E).
Action 2: Students were promoted to participate in social clubs like NSS, Nature club, Social welfare
club.
Action 3: “Sankalp –A pledge to change” is an initiative by NIT students to teach the poor students
around the campus.
Action 4: Blood donation camp is encouraged.
Action 5: “Unnat Bharat Abhyaan” an initiative to the survey of villages, plans for its development,
technical development etc (Refer to Annexure 7F).
Action 6: A talk on “Engineering & Technology for Sustainable Smart Rural Villages” by Dr. Ashok
Das, Founder CEO, SunMoksha, Bangalore on July 3, 2018, at 3:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the
Computer Centre (Refer to Annexure 7G).
PO7: Environment and sustainability
PO7 1.8 1.84 Attainment level is marginal. The following actions are
made in order to sustain and improve this attainment
level.
Action 1: An industrial visit to Tata motors was conducted for 3rd year students (Refer to Annexure
7B).
Action 2: Case study on industrial use of Non-traditional manufacturing Process
Action 3: Internship taken by the student at the end of 6th semester.
Action 4: Seminars and Expert lectures on futuristic materials (Refer to Annexure 7H).
Action 5: Tree plantation and clean campus drive was under taken (Refer to Annexure 7I &7J).

PO10 1.8 1.66 Attainment level is lower than the target one and thus
the following actions have been taken.
Action 1: Students works as organizers of Cultural (CULFEST) and Technical Fest (OJASS) of the
Institute.
Action 2: Students will be trained in their final year project to comprehend and write the effective
reports and make effective presentations.
Action 3: Seminar on "Strengthening You Strength and Speaking Awareness" by world renowned
Prajapita Brahma Kumari Foundation on December 2018 at 5-6 PM in the Computer Centre. (Refer to
Annexure 7S).
Action 4: Workshop on GD skills by soft skill club (Refer to Annexure 7T).
PO11 1.8 1.63 Attainment level is lower than the target one and thus
the following actions have been taken.
Action 1: Few courses like Production Management, Organizational Behaviour and Industrial
Phycology & Principles of Management etc., of curriculum give knowledge of Management principle
and applying managerial principles to his/her work including financial implications and to manage the
project in multidisciplinary environments (Refer to Annexure 2A).
Action 2: Students are encouraged to handle financial management during Technical &Non–
T e c h n i c a l Festivals.

actions are made in order to sustain this attainment

Action 1: Students are encouraged to peruse higher education and prepare for various competitive
exams (Refer to Annexure 7N, 7U, 7V).

Action 3: An industrial visit to Tata motors was conducted for 3rd year students (Refer to Annexure

PSO2 : Students will be well equipped with Industrial Management skills and interdisciplinary
technologies.

Action 1: Students are required to take industrial internship.
