Background:- Culture Tours is a relatively new and innovative 3 year old organization within the
hospitality and tourism industry in GTA. The organization comprises of a diverse team of
experienced staff within the industry. Although successful, Team # 1 has the potential to become a
benchmark company within the said industry.

Issue/Problem:- In the last year, Culture Tours has had internal client complaints,
increased and perhaps unnecessary employee disputes that is compromising their targeted
production, revenue and growth rates. Further, these effects have begun to negatively
influence external clients which is crucial to the business.

Question:- What can Culture Tours do to improve employee relations, reduce employee
disputes, and improve productivity?

MAIN MESSAGE (Thesis Statement):

Culture Tours must effectively address
their internal clients (employees) in an
inclusive, modern and respectful
manner to harness and channel their
talent, and create a culture that is
unique to their organization

Five (5) guidelines that our team has agreed upon for our team interaction are as
follows:-

1. Establish the effects of teamwork, relationships, the influence of language and

culture, recognize and respect an individual’s contributions.
2. Highlight components inside Intercultural Sensitivity.
3. The challenges and benefits of multicultural workplaces.
4. The importance of improving communication and understanding and the benefits
therein.
5. The future and survival of communications in an evolving intercultural workplace
and society.
