0 Methodology
In this research, researchers obtain information using secondary data, which is
to collect data from website and book sources.

3.1 Secondary data

3.1.1 Book sources


This method is derived from previously published written materials such
as reference books and textbooks. This method makes it easier to find the
additional information and data needed to fit into this study. Secondary
sources of data were obtained from the Statistics for Management and
Economics, 11th edition textbook to obtain information involved in the study.

3.1.2 Internet Resources

The Internet resources enables researchers to find information faster and


easier. Data analysis was performed after obtaining secondary data from the
website of Bank Negara Malaysia and Department of Statistics Malaysia from
2000 to 2006 and 2008 to 2014.

3.2 Data Analyzer Techniques

Data analysis techniques are divided into quantitative and qualitative data
analysis techniques. Researchers are use quantitative data analysis
techniques to find the information.

3.2.1 Quantitative Analysis Data

Data were analyzed using a descriptive method in terms of percentage and


frequency. Data analysis is done when obtaining secondary data from the
Statistics for Management and Economics, 11th edition textbook to obtain
information involved in the study and website of Bank Negara Malaysia and
Department of Statistics Malaysia from 2000 to 2006 and 2008 to 2014.The
level of analysis is achieved when the data obtained is verified, edited and
converted to numbers. Subsequently, the analyzed data is presented in table
form.
