Dear School Administrator,

I would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to consider me as a teacher and
an employee within your school district. My name is Reanna Fitzgerald and I am from
Woodland, Washington. I graduated from Woodland High School in 2015 and continued my
education at Grays Harbor Community College in Aberdeen, Washington. I attended Grays
Harbor from 2015 to 2016 and graduated in 2016 with my Associates in Arts Degree. After
graduating from Grays Harbor, I transferred to continue my education at Dakota State
University. In December of 2019, I graduated from Dakota State University with my Bachelors in
Elementary and Special Education with minors in K-8 Reading Methods and Educational
Technology.
In my future classroom I plan to implement technology as much as possible to adapt and
enhance student learning. With multiple educational programs available on the internet such as
Khan Academy, students are able to work at their own pace. Differentiation is necessary within
a classroom for all students to achieve academic goals. All students are going to learn
differently, and technology allows us to easily differentiate all instructions for all students.
Engaging students is also one of my top priorities. I believe that students should want to come
to my class if it was optional, I want students to remember my class on the first day of school,
and I want to impact my students lives.
It’s time to move from my college life and begin my career. I am more than excited to
bring my knowledge and passion into my own classroom. Using differentiation, technology, and
a student-centered approach I will teach my students to their needs and abilities to ensure
student success in my classroom. I look forward to talking to you about my future classroom and
educational ideas. Feel free to contact me at my email, Reanna.Fitzgerald@trojans.dsu.edu or
at my phone number, (360)-608-8117 with any questions you may have regarding my future
position at your school. Thanks again for taking the time and considering me for a teaching
position!

In education,

Reanna Fitzgerald
