SPOST 1:
- Make sure hydraulics are “OFF”
- Make sure throttle at idle or below
- Disengage STAB CH 1 and 2
- Open CB1F1, CB2F1, CB2R3, CB2R4
- Close CB1F1, CB2F1, CB2R3, CB2R4
- SPOST1 will start when all C/B’s are closed and will take approx 60 sec.
- After SPOST1, make sure all spoilers are “green” on flight control page
SPOST 2:
- Note: You can’t arm SPOST2 if it was already done since last “Power On”, perform SPOST1 prior
- Simultaneously push STAB DISC and MACH TRIM swith/light for 5 sec
- SPLR/STAB IN TEST message will show on EICAS for 5 sec
- Engage STAB CH 1 and 2 swith/light
- Pressurize hydraulics 1-2-3
- SPLR/STAB IN TEST will reappear, and test will last for approx 80 sec
- That’s it… that’s all
