Dear Sir,

I am writing the cover letter to apply a position of teaching in the English Department. I am a
Master of Education in English Language Teaching of State University of Malang with the GPA
3.70. Furthermore, I am an undergraduate alumnus of this university with the GPA 3,73. I have
extensive experience in academic writing that reflected in my Graduate Thesis and the subject I
teach. Furthermore, I am very well versed with the usage of technology in the classroom.

I am enthralled to teach at the university. The university receives recognizable awards both
nationally and internationally that I believe could develop the scientific knowledge based on
research and technology. Therefore, it shares a similar mission with me. Thus, I believe I will
thrive as a lecturer in the university.

My teaching experiences span nine years. I have been teaching in both formal and informal
institution. Currently, I am teaching as an impermanent lecturer in Language Center of
University of Muhammadiyah Malang. A position that I have been hold for the past five years.
Besides, I had been acquainting with the workload of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang
as a staff of General Administration Bureau as well for two years. Hence, I possess a prodigious
communication skill, widespread class management expertise, and profound students’ individual
differences.

I am involved as well in the academic community. I have published academic journals as well as
take part in an academic conference. The recent academic conference allowed me to publish my
academic paper nationally. I join courses as a part of professional development. The recent
international course taught me to be a trained professional in teacher professional development.
