Context

Casa de Bocadillos offers siomai and four seasons in an affordable price.

The entrepreneur ensures the customers are satisfied and comfortable at the space

provided for them to eat. The business is own by only one entrepreneur that has the

expertise in sales and marketing. The Casa de Bocadillos is located at Gaisano

Mall of Davao J.P. Laurel Avenue Bajada, Davao City. The target would be the

students, employees, children and shoppers who visits or works at the mall.

According to Franchise Business Philippines siomai is a popular business venture

here in the Philippines as of 2015. Despite of the low prices compared to other

goods, it seems that the increase in sales is consistent for the past years. The

entrepreneurs ensure to meet the satisfaction of every customer where they

engaged their business in the new technologies to adapt the new style in selling the

products. The known competitor related to the products they have is the Master

Siomai, they also serve Siomai and a drink. Followed by Dimsum Temple, Kerrimo,

Chowking, and Roxas Night Market. Social media marketing is very effective in

spreading the business information, like, posting quality content updates. There is a

growth rate of 10% per year. On start up, two trained staff passed job qualifications

to operate the business. To begin with, owner will be scheduling appointments and

coordinating services. Workers will spend 48 hours per week (8 hours per day, 6

days per week) are entitled to receive at least the daily minimum wage. The

entrepreneur has invested ₱1,050,000.00 to meet working capital requirements.
