The graph presents the percentage of aged 65 and over population in three countries between
1940 and 2040. In general, it is clear that Japan is predicted to be on the top of population
among Sweden and USA.

To begin with, Japan stood at below 5% then tend to steadily decrease yet remain the same
between early 1960 and middle 1980 thus projected to recover at exactly 10% in the middle
of 2020 and sky-rocketed to its highest level in 2040 reaching just under 30%.

Accordingly, Sweden stood at roughly above 5% while USA started on top at approximately
below 10% yet both countries shown its progressive climbed then started to gradually
decrease by end of 1980. Prior to 2000, Sweden’s aged 65 and over population successfully
outweighed USA at nearly below 15% and went up to 20% in the middle of 2000 thus dipped
then recovered to its peaked level at exactly 25% while USA tend to stabilize at below 15%
yet rocketed in end of 2000 to below 25% become the least population.
