The table presents the number of medals in the London 2012 Olympic Games that won by the
top ten countries. In general, United States was undoubtedly on the 1st rank while Australia
was clearly on the 10th rank by the gold medals gained.

Formerly, United States stood at the 1st by gaining the 46 gold with total medals of 104
followed by China on the 2nd rank by 38 gold and 88 medals in total. Great Britain was
upper handed Russia with slightly 5 gold although Russia had 17 medals higher in total.
Comparatively, South Korea stood at 5th rank by 13 gold and 28 total medals beaten
Germany that had 44 total medals but only 11 golds.

In addition, Germany and France were having the same gold at 11 but Germany was
outweighed France by extra 10 medals in total. In the same way, Italy and Hungary also got
gold equally at 8 but Italy had more overall medals at 28 upper handed Hungary that only
gained 17. Lastly, by gaining 7 golds and 35 total of medals, Australia stood at the 10th rank.
