Module Reflection Questions:

1. Implementation of feedback:
If I was going to revise my podcast, I would make the break shorter. Of course, if
it was a real podcast, there would hopefully be sponsored ads in the break. However,
since this was just a pilot, I should have made it shorter. If this podcast were to become
real, I would try to get interviews with the families rather than just taking recordings and
using little clips.
2. Learning Reflection:
I learned that I should probably make a shorter break, so I don’t lose listeners in
the break. I would keep my voice the same because I sounded mysterious. I was told
the inflection in my voice really can draw in a listener because I matched the topic of
murder with a mysterious voice.
3. Alternative Use / Future directions
The technology I used can be used in a classroom because I can record
voiceovers for tutorials so students can watch a “How To” video from home. It can also
be used in the sense of finding evidence. We can record people trying to get someone
to admit to something so that we can convict them of a crime. We can also use this
technology to make fun activities in a classroom like a fun walk around doing silly
things. The recorded voice would say things such as “hop like a bunny” or “crawl like a
crab” as kids are encouraged to get off their feet and be creative. The voice could be
put over fun music so the kids can get even more involved.
