“Larawan Sa Ulap”

Photographs are so powerful. I learned that through the use of technology such as
a camera, one can leave a big impact to those who aren’t that exposed to it. A boy called
“Negro” accidentally died and the photographs left of him serves as a memory now.
Likewise, the little girl named Jerrylin whose mother died at such a young age had left her
few photographs that somehow appease her longing and she had shown so much gratitude
for finally having her own picture for it had become a source of happiness.

The children of Benguet had such great joy being given the opportunity to get their
ID picture taken for the first time. One of their teachers named Carmela is the epitome of
determination and compassion for she worked so hard to finish her studies in order to serve
the children and inspire them to follow their aspirations as well. I also learned from the
man named Samuel that, it doesn’t matter how far away you live, the hardship you’ve went
through in achieving your dreams is what counts.

Identification is indeed very important and without photography it is impossible. A

simple photograph could really satisfy one’s needs, serve as a validation of education and
also be a living proof of one’s existence.
