INSTRUCTIONAL COURSES IN LARYNGOLOGY & OTOLOGY

Course Design Surgical video based presentation series on procedures which need technical refinement and
sensible decision making; major focus is on Microlaryngeal & Tympanomastoid Surgery. A-Z of
each will be effectively encompassed under 25 video sessions by 2 doyens in the corresponding
field; moderators will sum up and supplement if necessary thereby allowing in-depth analysis.
An open-house will be conducted at the culmination for any further clarifications.

Who should attend? The course will serve as a concise supplement to otolaryngology residents and consultants alike

RULES FOR PAPER AND POSTER PRESENTATION


 Limited to bona fide post graduate students of Otorhinolaryngology to be certified by the HOD of
the institution
 All participants should register for the conference
 The paper presentation / poster should not carry any reference to his/her parent institution or
faculty to avoid judgment bias.
 The winners of each will be awarded a Certificate of merit and Gold medal.
A. PAPER PRESENTATION
 Case reports, case series or original research may be presented; but will confer no special merits on
evaluation.
 Each presentation should not exceed 5 minutes; exceeding stipulated time may invite penalization
 An abstract of the presentation not exceeding 250 words should be mailed to
aoikottayam@gmail.com on or before May 21st.
B. POSTER PRESENTATION
 Poster size should be 3 ft x 4 ft
 Each poster should be themed on a topic of clinical contemporary relevance.
 Kindly confirm participation on or before May 25th by sending an email with poster topic and name
to aoikottayam@gmail.com.
