ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION INTO COEs FOR 1ST YEAR INTERMEDIATE
FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-2021

*PROSPECTUS/NOTIFICATION*
Applications are invited for admission into TTWREIS COEs for Intermediate 1st year in
Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Centre of Excellence Colleges for the academic year
2020-2021 into COEs/ SOE/ IIT Study Centre. The list of colleges, groups and special
coaching offered are detailed here under.

Eligibility to apply in COEs/SOEs:

All the ST students (Boys & Girls) of Telangana who are appearing for SSC
March, 2020 Public Examinations from T.W Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt.
Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for the
admissions. Admissions for IIT Study Centre, Rajendranagar, TTWR COE (Girls),
Warangal, SOE/COEs will be given on the basis of merit through Screening Tests at
two levels conducted by TS Gurukulam. The 1st Screening test may be objective type
and 2nd Screening test may be descriptive type. Only the meritorious students from
the 1st screening test may be permitted to attend 2nd level screening test at 1:3
ratio. After the 2nd level screening test the selected students will get admission into
1st year Intermediate with integrated coaching for JEE Main/Advanced,
EAMCET/NEET/AIIMS along with all benefits which extended by TS Gurukulam, such as
free boarding, lodging, Uniform, note books & text books, study material , bedding
material and examination fee etc.

 They should also pass SSC in 1st attempt in March-2020 and secure at least B2
grade (7 points) in aggregate and also secure at least B2 grade in English in SSC
Public Examinations 2019.

 Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the
Entrance Test (the question paper will be in bilingual) Telugu and English.
  Parental Income for the year 2020-2021 financial year should not exceed
Rupees Two Lakh per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the
Government guidelines at the time of admissions.

 Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like, Caste,

Income, Aadhar Card., Marks Memo, Study, T.C., Medical fitness certificate
from not less than assistant civil surgeon, (06) Passport size photos at the
time of admission.

 In this regard it is to proposed that the modalities are to be prepared with the
following guidelines.

 There should be two level of entrance tests to be conducted, the first level
with MCQ for 160 marks in English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry for MPC and
for BPC English, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science each subject will
have 40 questions each question carries one mark.

 The question paper should be prepared from the basics of VIII to X classes
(English and optional subjects).

 The descriptive question paper contains Maths, Physics and Chemistry for MPC
and Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science for BPC each subject carries 40
marks.

 The question paper consist in each subject 10 very short questions which
carries 2 marks and 5 short questions which carries 4 marks. Thus

 The 2nd Language in all these Institutions may be permitted ‘Telugu’.

Reservation pattern in COEs/SOEs:

1. Admissions will be reserved for STs of Telangana state only, as per GO in

vogue.

2. 3% of overall seats will be reserved to the Physically Handicapped children

who can attend their work without anybody’s help based on the certificate
issued by the Medical Board.

Submission of Application Form: Through ONLINE:

 The applicant here to submit his / her application through ONLINE visiting
website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in for tribal welfare.
 Registration fee for submission of application through ONLINE may be
Rs.100/-.
 Before filling the application through online the candidates may be asked to
read the information already uploaded in the website
www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in
 The 100 kb pass port size photo and 50 kb signature of the student may be
permitted to upload.
 The Candidates may be advised to collect the Hall-tickets immediately after
submission of application through online. The same has to be certified by
the Principal / Head Master, where the candidate is studying.

 The Screening test will be conducted at two levels, 1st Screening test
will be objective type and 2nd Screening test will be descriptive type
with the following subjects for MPC and Bi.P.C. Groups separately.

1:4 may be permitted to attend 2nd level screening test.

 The list of eligible candidates for 2nd screening test may be permitted
to obtain / seen from the website of Gurukulam at 1:4 ratio.
  The test may be based on the knowledge of subjects from class VIII to X
classes in English/Mathematics/Biology/Physics and Chemistry.

 The entrance test question paper may be given in bilingual (i.e., in

English and Telugu Media).

 Applicants may be selected any language as medium of writing for the

Test.

Final Selection of Students for Tribal welfare Residential COEs:

1. The meritorious top candidates after 2nd screening entrance test will be
allotted to TTWR IIT Study Centre for Boys, TTWR COE (Girls), Warangal and
TTWR SOE (B), Khammam.

2. The remaining seats in the COEs will be filled on the basis of candidate’s merit
marks and option.

3. The candidates who writes the exam in the 1st level (MCQ) have to attend the
same subject in the 2nd level test (ex: MPC 1st level candidates should write MPC
2nd level but not BPC).
