Construction Module Reflection

1. Implementation of Feedback
Based on my feedback, my plan to revise my project is possibly make it
shorter and make it more interactive. The part that would be most difficult for me
to revise would be making it shorter in length as all the slides that I had made at
the time. I received my feedback were necessary. Making it more interactive
wouldn’t be that difficult as I would just need to add more videos or music or
audio pieces to my prototype. With the time given, making it as interactive as
impossible and shortening it would be very difficult as it would include revising
all of the slides I had already created to add more interactive elements and find
slides that can be taken out of my prototype, which would be impossible to do.

2. Learning Reflection
With this project, I learned that you shouldn’t bite off more than you can
chew, and that revision is a long, time consuming process. I definitely thought that
my idea for my prototype wouldn’t take nearly as much time as it did and didn’t
think I would need as many slides as I did. Due to this, I truly believe that my
project could have ended up being a better product and ended up being very rushed
so I could turn it in on time. If I were to do this project again, I would have chosen
a different topic to do my project on as it would have been simpler and wouldn’t
have taken as much time as this project did, for me at least.

3. Alternative Use / Future directions

My project was originally created around the idea of helping visitors of
Disney resorts to get around the parks and find where each ride stood in a specific
park or themed land. The only way I could see this technology being used in a
different way than originally intended is for Disney fans to have the opportunity to
explore Disney resorts that they may never be able to visit. I see this being a true,
possible use of this application as while making this prototype, I got to explore
some Disney resorts I had never seen or heard of before. Being a Disney fan, it was
thrilling to get to see how the other Disney resorts are designed compared to the
ones in California and Florida, which I have visited, and get to watch videos of the
rides that are offered at these foreign resorts but not at the more local locations.
