Pureit Annual Maintenance Contract (Plan)

Every Pureit device comes with a one year limited warranty. You can extend your coverage for your Product for another one (1) year
with the Pureit Annual Maintenance Contract. Pureit Annual Maintenance Contract is an optional service plan given to consumer to
cover and protect their water purifiers beyond the expiry of your original warranty, by purchasing the plan. The Annual Maintenance
Contract is offered by Hindustan Unilever Limited and sold through its Authorized Distributor Insert Name. The Annual Maintenance
Contract can be subscribed by the Customers through Pureit Licensed Service Providers(LSPs).

This Contract of Annual Maintenance is between the Customer and Company and the Authorized Reseller of the Plan is not party to
the contract of the Plan herein. Hindustan Unilever Limited shall be the administrator of this Contract and responsible for the
obligations herein. This Contract is not related or an extension of the Manufacturers Warranty and is specific to the Plan herein. This
Contract is not a contract of insurance but a Service Contract.

The coverage provided by Annual Maintenance Contract as described is subject tothe terms and conditions sent to consumer by mail.

Annual Maintenance Contract:


The scope of coverage subject to the terms and conditions herein, provided to you will vary according to the Plan you purchased, and
are as follows:
1.Annual Maintenance Contract
Under this plan, any electrical part defect in the Product including Pressure reducing valve, External Booster Pump and UV lamp and
all visit or repair charges related to the functionality of the device will be covered. One Germ kill kit set(either GKK1 or GKK2
whichever is applicable) and One Membrane will also covered in this plan.

Terms And Conditions


Parts covered : a. All the electrical parts in the device will be covered like Solenoid valve, RO
pump,float switch, Low Pressure switch, circuit, adaptor, LEDs. It includes External
Booster Pump, Pressure reducing valve and UV lamp

b. Consumables: One(1) Germ Kill Kit (either GKK1 or GKK2 whichever is


applicable) & One Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane will be covered

c.No service charge will be levied for any complaint related to functionality of the
product.
Parts not covered : a. The Consumables including but not limited to 1) Germkill Kit (GKK2), 2)Sediment
filter,3)TDS Modulator,4)Mini filter, 5)UV reactor 6)Accessory bought or provided
with the product and 7)Aesthetic Components.

Eligibility of Products:
The Customer may purchase the Annual Maintenance Contract for for its Product subject to the following conditions:

a. The Annual Maintenance Contract is not available for Products that are older than five (5) years prior to the purchase of the Annual
Maintenance Contract or during the validity of the Annual Maintenance, for the Product.

b. Only the following Pureit devices are eligible for the aforementioned Annual Maintenance Contract: a) UV devices; b) RO devices;
c) RO+UV devices; d) RO+UV+TDS devices; e) RO+MF devices f) RO+MF+TDS devices.

c. Device should be in working condition as testified by Pureit service technician at the time of purchase of Annual Maintenance
Contract.

d. The Product shall not have any open complaint at the given point or one week before the purchase of the Contract.

e. In the event of inspection by the Company or its authorized LSPs at its discretion, the Product is found to be in breach of the terms
herein or is not in normal working condition.

How to Obtain Services:

Service under this Plan for all purifiers must be performed only by Pureit LSPs. Consumer needs to register their complaint at our call
center at 1860-210-1000 or by logging on to www.pureitwater.com.

Customer Obligations
The Plan is subject to the following obligations of the Customer:

a. The Customer shall operate and maintain the Product in accordance to the User Manual and any other instructions communicated
by the Company with respect to the Product.

b. The Company shall allow the inspection of the Product by the Company of authorized LSP either prior to the purchase of the
Contract or in the event of purchase from the portal directly, then within a period thirty (30) days from such purchase..

c. The company or its authorised LSPs reserves the right to retain any part(s) or component(s) replaced at its discretion. Defective
parts that have been replaced of the covered Product are the property of company. The Customer agrees to hand them over to Pureit
authorized service personnel.

d. The Customer agrees to facilitate and provide full cooperation to the Company and its Authorized Licensed Service Providers (LSPs)
, during the diagnosis and repair of the covered Product, including to provide access to the covered Product at the installed location in
the presence of an adult at the time of service; and that he/she will provide the Company with proof of the date, type and value of the
Contract purchased, model and serial number of the covered Product including any other relevant verification, prior to any service
provided under the Contract.

e. The Customer will notify the company in writing or by calling the help line promptly if any defects are noticed and give the company
or its authorised agent adequate opportunity to inspect, test and remedy them. If so required by the Company for performing the
services under the Contract,Customer shall deposit the Product with the companys office/ service centre/authorised LSPs along with
the original invoice.

f. Proof of purchase (invoice or paid order confirmation) of the Contract must be provided when requesting service under the Annual
Maintenance Contract.

g. Any servicing or repair work with respect to the Product shall not be carried out by the persons other than authorized service
personnel. The Contract becomes void if any repair work is carried out by persons other than those authorized by the Company.

h. The payment for the Annual Maintenance Contract is subject to statutory levies as may be applicable from time to time. Such levies
are payable by the Customer in addition to the Annual Maintenance Contract charges/consideration as published or informed from time
to time.

Limitation of coverage/liability:
a. This Contract is valid only within the territory of India.Product under any of the Contract mentioned above if moved outside India will
be nullified.

b. Hindustan Unilever is not and shall never be liable for repair or replacement for any Product, caused by defects that existed prior to
the purchase of this Contract or for any loss, injury or damage, including , but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages,
because of any delay in providing service, repair, replacement or refund under theContract.

c. The companys liability under this Annual Maintenance Contract shall be limited only to defects in the Product which occur under the
conditions of normal operation under the proper and prescribed use as per its User Manual. This Annual Maintenance Contract does
not cover or extend to defects which are determined by the company or its authorised agents as occurring or resulting from or
attributable to negligence, abuse, misuse, faulty care, operation or maintenance or repairs, alterations to the Product or any part
thereof by others.
Exclusions from Coverage:

a. If the Product is used for other than normal, single family household use. The eligibility of Products used in institutional or
commercial establishments as well as community use, will be determined at the sole discretion of the company.

b. Damage to appliance caused by accident, misuse, theft, riot, strikes, fire, flood, infestation, environmental damage and acts of God,
accident or intentional, interruption of electrical power, inadequate or fluctuating electrical power, plumbing, waterlines connected to
the Product but not internal to it, , use of spurious part or use of the device in a manner not authorized in its user manual.

c. Damage to device incurred while moving the device to another location or reinstalling it after it has been moved.

d. Removing or reinstalling of the device installed in an inaccessible location or not installed in accordance with its installation
instructions.

e. Cosmetic damage to the Covered Equipment including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on parts, finish defects,
discolorations, dents, scratches, peeling, rusting, corrosion.

f. Non- electrical, consumables delivery and aesthetics parts and labor in connection with the diagnosis and replacement of the same
is not covered by this Service plan.

g. If any serial number has been altered, removed or defaced from the Product.
Transfer of Ownership:
The Customer is not authorized to transfer ownership of this Plan to any other person.

Renewals, Cancellations and Terminations:


a. The Term of the Plan is for a period of one (1) year only.

b. The Annual Maintenance Contract is non-renewable. New Plans are issued to replace the expired Plan. The company is not
obligated to offer a new service plan when the current plan expires.

c. The Annual Maintenance Contractmay be cancelled by the consumer without assigning any reason within 15 days of the purchase
of the Plan. The consumer shall not be eligible for a refund if the date of the cancellation request exceeds the period of 15 days
herein. Notwithstanding anything stated herein, the consumer shall not be allowed to cancel the Annual Maintenance Contract if any
services as provided under the AMC has been availed by him in the 15 days prior to the cancellation of the Annual Maintenance
Contract.

d. A transaction cost based on the mode of payment chosen by the LSP, shall be charged prior to the refund, after the cancellation of
the Annual Maintenance Contract by the consumer.

e. In the event of cancellation of the AMC by the consumer, the consumer shall not be eligible to purchase another AMC for his device
for a period of 3 months from the date of cancellation of the same.

f. The Company may cancel the Contract and refund the money to the Customer if the Product is found not to be in normal working
condition during post-purchase inspection in the event of direct online purchase from the Portal.

g. In case of repairs or replacement of any part/s of the unit, this AMC will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the
unexpired period of the Contract.

h. The Company may cancel this Contractat any time during its Term for reasons including, but not limited to, non- payment, misuse of
the device or unauthorized modifications to the device or any breach of the terms herein.

Limitation of Liability

This Annual Maintenance Contract shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising
directly or indirectly out of any defect in the water purifier. The maximum liability under this Contract shall not exceed the original price
of the Product, excluding any applicable taxes and charges. Notwithstanding the Term, The Contract shall automatically terminate in
the event the Company reimburses you (Customer) for the original price of the Product or if the Company incurs cost under the
Contract to service the Product equal to the original price of the Product. .

Governing Law: This contract of Annual Maintenance between the parties have deemed to be executed in Mumbai and the courts of
Mumbai will have exclusive jurisdiction on issues and claims arising out of this Agreement.
General
For the purpose of this Annual Maintenance Contract, the following expressions shall have the following meanings respectively:

Product(s) shall mean Pureit productseligible under the plan as described in the invoice. undefined, Pureit undefined or Pureit
undefined eligible under the plan as described in the invoice.

Customers shall mean the purchaser of the Annual Maintenance Contract from the company's authorised reseller who is a party to the
invoice.

Companys shall mean Hindustan Unilever Limited.

Plan shall mean the Annual Maintenance Contract purchased by the Customer.

User manual's shall mean the user manual as amended from time to time, published and provided by the Company, with respect to the
specific Product.

AMC shall mean the Annual Maintenance Contract.

E - DECLARATION
I have read above mentioned terms and conditions of Pureit Annual Maintenance Contract mentioned in the document prior to the
purchase of the Contract. The purchase and payment of the Contract is the acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms and
conditions herein and agree to abide by the same.
