DESCRIPTION
For our podcast, I am going to interview Cassi on what it is like to be
a barista and her the most common questions that people have for
their barista. Then she is going to ask me questions about what I
look for in a coffee shop and the different things that I like/dislike
about coffee.

TITLE OF PODCAST
The Daily Grind

PODCAST TOPIC
Discussing what baristas and customers look for from coffee and
coffee shops.

GENRE OF PODCAST
Our podcast would be in the food and drink genre as most of our
podcast will be discussing what drinks we like. It could also be an
interview as we will be interviewing each other on this topic to find
out more about what each other looks for from coffee shops.
DESCRIPTION OF HOST

The podcast will be held by Cassi and Erica. Cassi is a barista and
has lots of knowledge on what it is like to work at a coffee shop.
Erica has been going to coffee shops for six years and knows what
she enjoys from a coffee shop.

ESTIMATED LENGTH OF SHOW

I think the general length of time for the podcast will be between 20-
25 minutes. I don’t want it to be too long and have people lose
interest in what we are talking about, but I also want to be able to
cover our topics thoroughly. I think this would also help us with
finding new things to talk about as we don’t have to cover too many
topics in one episode.

PROPOSED FREQUENCY OF SHOW

I think we would have the show twice a month so that we could

have new experiences in the week to talk about and also have time
to put together a show without feeling rushed.

PODCAST FORMAT STRUCTURE

In this section outline your general podcast structure as a numbered

or bulleted list. We chose this format as the beginning is casual and
gets listeners into what we are discussing before going into the main
part of our conversation. It also slows down at the end so that
people can be relaxed when it is over.

SCRIPT VS OUTLINE

For our podcast we will follow an outline in order to get the real
reactions from each other instead of having it scripted. We will have
questions written down to ask each other beforehand though as we
want those to be prepared ahead of time. We will interview each
other as this seems like the best way to get each other’s input and
thoughts on the topic.

COVER IMAGE
Our cover image is of a cup of coffee as that is what we talk about in
the podcast. We have text in two of the corners that say the name of
our podcast and our names.
