Another avenue for graduate engineers

Various companies come together to create a construction project. You need someone to manage it.
The captain of this ship is a project manager. He is assisted by a number of project engineers.

Any engineer can work hard and become a project engineer. I will give a brief overview of project
engineering so that you can start working on it right from college.

I will use PE for project engineer.

PE is one of the first persons on the job. He has to understand what work is to be done and what is not
to be done.

Who will do the work?

How much time will he take?

When it will start and when it will finish?

What are the risks involved?

All work must be done keeping quality, safety and ethics in mind.

How will completed work be verified and payment done?

A project engineer should know how his or her company functions. How departments communicate and
how information flows?

He needs to be in control of the project. All the time.
