MODIFICATION OF IMPROPER OPERATION OF THE

COIN VENDOR WITH PARALLEL CONNECTION

1. Model Name: MX-1810U/2010U/2310U/3111U, MX-2314N/2614N/3114N/2615N/3115N/2616N/3116N,

MX-2640N/3140N/3640N

2. Description: ASIC for PCU PWB has been changed since mid-September, 2013 production to improve
productivity.
However, improper operation of coin vendor with parallel connection has occurred after
implementing the new PCU PWB. (Some features do not function.)
The buffer IC for coin vendor has been modified as a countermeasure.
In case an improper operation of the coin vendor with parallel connection is reported from
field, please replace the PWB with new one.

This problem does not occur to the units manufactured in August, 2013 or earlier.
New ASIC may be mixed with the old ASIC for those manufactured in September, 2013 or
later. Please see below for how to distinguish new and old ASIC and take appropriate
measures.
