Extension Proper

The seminar started with

an audio presentation of
Doxology and National anthem.

Before the lecture started,

the residents of Brgy. Ilaya who
participated in the extension
program have listed their names
in the attendance sheet.

The first topic is presented

by Elmer Tecson, a fourth year
ECE student. He discussed the
different kinds of disaster
through powerpoint
presentation.
 After the discussion,
Nikko Montealegre, a fifth
year ECE student, added his
insights and clarifications
about the topic.

The second topic was

discussed by Ronnabel
Sernicula, fourth year. Her
topic is about the kinds of
ham radio, its prices and
quality.

Anjielyn Hidalgo, an
ECE student, discussed the
parts of the ham radio and
its corresponding functions.
 The topic about External
antennas, including its kinds
and characteristics was
discussed by Benjie
Magallano, fourth year ECE
student. He also tackled the
kinds of ham radio antennas
and its characteristics.

The discussion was

followed by the topic about
using ham radio in emergency
response which is given by
Aljun Andus, a fourth year ECE
student. He discussed the
emergency hotlines and
frequencies.

Rhende May Abanilla, a

fifth year ECE student, gave
the codes and the do’s and
don’ts in the radio during an
emergency.
