 FUTURE OF PEACE AND CONFLICT IN AFGHANISTAN : IMPLICATION ON

PAKISTAN :
INTRODUCTION :
Afghanistan is a land lock country situated in south Asia due to its geography Afghanistan
has always been center point of discussion for all major powers in the world . The game
started soon after soviet invasion in Afghanistan and to withdraw soviets US stepped into
Afghanistan . After 9/11 US started Global war on terror and still in Afghanistan for 19 years.
During their War on Terror US invested Trillion of dollar in Afghanistan and still failed to
attain peace in Afghanistan. At present peace talks between Taliban and afghan
government is being canceled at the cost of Kabul school attack killing number of students.
Though for keeping peace there are number of complications in Afghanistan .They
consequences of peace talks and peace keeping is questionable ? In that case the future of
Afghanistan is rise of conflict in shape of civil war that will bring destructive impacts for
Pakistan . As Afghanistan is strategically very important for Pakistan. Pakistan is sharing
open border with Afghanistan that’s why terrorist activities in Afghanistan will automatically
effect security of Pakistan.

HYPOTHESIS:
The negative result of peace will indulge external forces in Afghanistan that
Will follow direct implications for Pakistan.
The future of Afghanistan will protect the strategic depth policy of Pakistan.
