XIX PLINTH PROTECTION WORKS & DRAINS
19.1 Providing plinth protection 50mm thick to cement concrete 1:3:6 with Sq.m
coarse agg of 20mm nominal size including finishing the surface with
10mm thick cement plaster in proportion 1:3 with a floating coat of neat
cement finished.
19.2 Providing plinth protection with bricks flat laid in cement mortar 1:4 and Sq.m
finished with 15mm thick cement plaster in prop. 1:2 with a floating coat of
neat cement finish.
19.3 Providing plinth protection with bricks laid on edge and grouted with Sq.m
cement mortar 1:4 and finishing with cement pointing in prop. 1:1
complete. cement finish.
19.4 Providing drain with cement concrete (1:3:6) 10cm thick sides 10cm thick
bed over brick flat soling including 15mm thick cement plastering in prop.
1:3 finished with a floating coat of cement slurry as directed with
necessary shuttering for sides and earth work in excavation of foundation
trenches and refilling the sides after completion of work etc. as specified.

i)300mm wid and average 150mm deep with bed slope 1 in 150 with initial R.m
depth of 100mm.
ii)300mm wide and average 250mm deep with bed slope 1 in 150 with R.m
initial depth of 100mm.
19.5 Providing drain with brick work in cement mortar in proportion 1:5 with half
brick thick side walls and 100mm thick C.C (1:3:6) base over one brick flat
soling including 15mm thick cement plastering in prop. 1:3 finished with a
floating coat of cement slurry as directed with necessary earth work in
excavation of foundation trenches and refilling the sides afetr completion
of work etc. as specified.

i)300mm wid and average 150mm deep with bed slope 1 in 150 with initial R.m
depth of 100mm.
ii)300mm wide and average 250mm deep with bed slope 1 in 150 with R.m
initial depth of 100mm.
