PeopleSoft Absence Management

Oracle’s PeopleSoft Absence Management is designed to allow organizations to plan and manage absence

entitlement and eligibility rules around leave accruals and taking leave, whether those rules are mandated
by legislation, unions, industry standards or your organization’s unique policies. By having a single global
instance for all absence related data, you can accurately analyze the impact of absences and identify
absence trends in your organization.

Absence Management enables organizations to automate the processes for planning and compensating
paid and unpaid time off for a multinational workforce. Absence Management contains built in integration
to PeopleSoft Global Payroll.
PeopleSoft ePerformance

PeopleSoft ePerformance is a self-service evaluation management application for managers, employees,


and human resources (HR) administrators. You can use ePerformance as a tool for planning, collaboration,
communication, assessment, and monitoring evaluations for two purposes: performance and
development.

aimed at bringing together the complex business processes of recruiting into an integrated, seamless

The Recruiting Home page is a collection of pagelets that gives recruiters, recruiting managers and hiring
managers a central point for launching and performing recruiting activities. This page brings together links
to commonly performed activities, search launches, alerts, applicant list collections, recruiting metrics,
and lists of both job openings and applicants.

Talent Acquisition Manager is designed with a transaction orientation that presents pages that allow users
to find information, context, and perform analysis before taking action. They also have access to tools that
support activities that frequently occur outside the traditional recruiting process, such as maintaining lists

PeopleSoft Employee Self-Service (ESS) is a web-based system that allows you to

Embedded Analytics

PeopleSoft Analytics provide critical information to respective modules. They can spot trends, proactively
identify potential issues and get additional insight into Absence Management data.
PeopleSoft delivers a user-friendly Fluid based user experience for slicing and dicing PeopleSoft data on
any Fluid page via self-service known as Fluid Simplified Analytics. The backbone of Fluid Simplified
Analytics is the PeopleTools Pivot Grid functionality that is based on PS Queries and has been available
since Tools 8.52. Come to this session for a review of how Fluid Simplified Analytics function and a
discussion of which Simplified Analytics are available today for each HCM application. A special deep dive
will be provided for how you can configure Simplified Analytics to work on any Fluid based component.
