I am pleased to recommend Ms. Angela Matthew to you for employment in your facility. I was Ms.
Matthew’s clinical instructor for the course titled “Acute and Chronic Illness Management II” in the
baccalaureate-nursing program at the University of Arizona, College of Nursing. Ms. Matthew
provided care for patients in the Trauma & Medical Intensive Care Units. In addition, Angela cared
for patient in the Bone Marrow Transplant unit at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson,
Arizona. I have known Angela since January 2019 and have found her to be an outstanding
student.

Ms. Matthew was an excellent student who is an independent learner, seeking clinical experiences
that challenge her to grow in the delivery of integrated nursing care. Ms. Matthew has excellent
critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities with complex patient problems. In addition, she
quickly acquires new skills and is a strong team player. Ms. Matthew approaches her nursing care
with a genuine compassion for patients and their families.
