DESCRIPTION
In this podcast, I am going to express my feelings on the latest
technology and social media. As a millennial, I have grown up with
the smartphone in the last decade. I am going to be talking about
my experience with this technology and my strong opinions against
it. I have watched the world burn and there is nothing I can do
about it. Welcome to my podcast.

PODCAST TOPIC

The topic of the podcast is on the harmful effects of technology that

I have felt and seen throughout the society.
GENRE OF PODCAST

The genre that my podcast fits into is simply technology. I will be

talking about smartphones and social media. This podcast will
contain a negative perspective of technology.

DESCRIPTION OF HOST
I will be the only host in this podcast. I have not yet found someone
as passionate as I am on this topic, so I prefer to share my opinions
on my own. I, the host, go by the name of Kailah Zinner. I am a
student at Arizona State University. I am pursuing a career in Special
Education. As you listen to the podcast, you will notice I have
different opinions on technology versus someone my age. Listen if
you would like to hear my insight on this topic.

ESTIMATED LENGTH OF SHOW

The episodes would be around 30 minutes. For me, 10 minutes is

too short and 60 minutes is too much of a commitment. My decision
was created by my experience of listening to podcasts. My audience
can be anyone who is willing to listen. The podcast can apply to
anyone because everyone can relate to having a form of technology
or having an interaction with one.

PROPOSED FREQUENCY OF SHOW

The frequency of the show would be every month. I do not have an

abundant amount of information to share. However, I do have
thoughts that are worth sharing. My audience can tune in each
month and be reminded of the different side to technology.

PODCAST FORMAT STRUCTURE

I chose this list because there are many things I need to talk about.
I had to break it up into smaller topics to make my podcast
organized. I will not include music because I feel that it would be

inappropriate because of what I will be talking about. I found that
this will be the most efficient to deliver my message to the audience.

SCRIPT VS OUTLINE
I will use an outline of topics and say what feels right. I have
expressed my opinions on this topic before, so I have a good idea of
what I will say. I will be presenting and talking about the topic by
myself. I feel that if I used a script, I would not be as passionate as
speaking directly from the mind. Outlining my project will help me
stay on task but also have the freedom to speak whatever I desire.

I took a picture of this globe that sits on my desk. I took the picture
with a wall in the background. I used Pixlr to edit the photo. I added
the geometric shape and the filter to make it look darker. The globe
represents the world and the filter shows the darkness around it.

world is connected through technology.
