Promoter and Artist Agreement

THIS AGREEMENT is binding between Jamie Black (The Promoter) (hereby referred to as The
Promoter) and Aiden Hatfield (The Artist) (Hereby referred to as The Artist).

THE AGREEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:

1. Term
This agreement is for the running and promoting of two (2) of The Artist’s November 2019
tour dates spanning 29th and 30th of November 2019.
2. Territory
This agreement will cover both EDINBURGH AND GLASGOW while The Artist is on tour.
3. Exclusivity
The Artist agrees to not perform in the territory for a total of two weeks before or after the
agreed dates.
4. Artist Obligations
4.1. Load in and Soundcheck
 The Artist will be on time for load in and soundchecks at the venues. Conformation
of the load in and soundcheck times for each venue will be emailed out to the artist
no later than one (1) week before the event date. If for any reason The Artist will be
late for either load in or soundcheck, The Artist must contact The Promoter
explaining the reason for delay and estimate time of arrival.
4.2. Set Length
 The Artist will play a forty-five (45) minute set with additional ten (10) minutes if an
encore is requested.
4.3. Equipment
 The Artist will supply their own backline and instruments for both tour dates. The
Artist will send over a copy of their technical specifications no later than one (1)
week before the dates.
5. Promoter Obligations
5.1. Promotional Materials
 The Promoter will use social media as well as posters and flyers to market and
advertise the tour dates
5.2. Sound Engineer and PA
 The Promoter has the responsibility to hire the sound engineer as well as ensuring
the venue has a functioning sound system. Incidents involving the engineer or
sound system rests solely on the promoter.
5.3. Security
  The Promoter will ensure sufficient security is in place for a full venue
5.4. Rider
 The Promoter will supply any catering requests and or rider requests as discussed
and agreed upon with The Artist
6. Fees
The promoter accepts the venues fees presented to use venues The Banshee Labyrinth in
Edinburgh on 29th November and The Old Hairdressers in Glasgow on 30th November 2019.
7. Payment
The Promoter agrees to pay the Artist’s fee of £200. The payment will be made via bank
transfer and will happen no later than 6/12/19.
8. Breach of Contract
Failure to carry out obligations set in place by this contract will result in breach of contract
and will lead to immediate termination of agreement as well as The Artist not receiving
payment. If either party wishes to terminate the contract before the term is up they must
provide evidence to support their reason for termination.
9. Transport and Accommodation
The Artist is responsible for arranging their own transport and accommodation for the tour
dates. Thus, the promoter is not held responsible for and travel or accommodation
problems.
