Interactive Project Proposal

This application is created to help students find a college that fits their specific needs.

Users will be able to go through multiple questions dealing with their interests, leading them to

the best result that would work for them. Questions like what state they would want to go to,

what financial aid is there, what places have their major, and other questions like these will help

narrow down their choice. In the end, this application will then give a final result of what

university best suits them as well as a small description on that university and what they offer.

The target audience would be teenagers specifically near the end of their high school

education. It is mainly for the indecisive group of teenagers as well as adults that have received

many ideas on a college but have not decided on one specific one yet. This will help them in

making that decision. The other type of audience would be for students who have no idea what

type of college they want to go to. This will help them in seeing what needs they value in a

college and help them by giving them a preliminary result so that they can go further exploring

that college given.

The outcome of this app will show an end result of one specific college that best suited

the user’s needs. It will make the process of deciding where to go easier by using their

information, making the end result more helpful for them making their decision. It will also give

an in depth summary of the college that best suited them so that they can learn more about it.
Most content included in this app would be photos of universities to help in showing the

users visual images of the end result. Mostly text and action buttons will be used for each slide

with a possibility of animations or sound for each transition slide. The style of this application

will be a simplistic looking design so that it would not easily distract when using.
