Precaution : Main Duties

a. Maintains the generator voltage

b. Support the network voltage
c. Operate synchronous machine within its operating limits
d. Fast response in case of network disturbances
e. Share reactive power with other synchronous unit
f. Stabilize power oscilation

Operation Procedure :

A. Beginning startup HIPASE :

1. Powering HIPASE E ( Excitation ), Power 24VDC at Slot H

2. Wait for Green Led is ON
3. The touch panel start automatically and show a start up picture
4. Setup all Networks procedure : IP Adresss, etc
5. Tools will be opened immediately
6. Connect tool to HIPASE Device, loaded the application into device
7. After succesfull load, application can be used

B. Operating on HIPASE :
1. Login User ( Guest / Operator / Administrator ), click PIN 1234 if choose Admin
2. If showing alarm, click acknowledge alarms
3. Start the voltage regulator : click Instrument and push ON ( to exciting of generator is
starting ) on Display
4. Excitation adjust a parameter, click house sign and click regulator & limiter sign
5. Inside Regulator & Limiters has been Field Current Regulator, click it then Display will
showing
6. Stop the voltage regulator : click Instrument and push Off
7. Hipase Operation Mode : Automatic Mode ( Power factor regulator / reactice power /
voltage regulator ) and Manual Mode ( Field Current regulator ), select once of this mode
