We hope that you have started an amazing semester after a long break. As you are taking the last steps
toward your graduation, it’s great to see that you all have well- scheduled your classes to graduate this
year.

We are very pleased to announce that this year’s graduation ceremony will be held in May, after summer
semester. We know you can’t wait to graduate. Most of you added five classes to graduate this May. But
it’s with regret to say that your professor for MGT 450 (Policy and Strategy) has got seriously ill and has
been taken to Dubai for treatment. It will take him at least forty days to get better, as per doctor’s advice.
There’s no other professor to teach the class this spring. However, we are undoubtedly going to offer it in
summer which you can take and graduate as per your plans. The good thing is that you will have the
priority to enroll in this class in summer.

As you now from AUAF Academic Calendar, the registration for summer starts on 3rd April, 2020. Your
registration will start two days earlier than other students. Please be advised to register MGT 450 as soon
as the registration gets open.

3 Ashak  vegetable and chive-filled dumplings topped with tomato and yogurt sauces

4 Maash Palaw  a sweet and sour pulao baked with mung beans, apricots, and bulgur wheat. Exclusively vegetarian

5 Bolani  Potatoes, chopped cilantro, chopped scallions (white and green parts), olive oil, salt, ground black pepper

6 Yogurt drink  Yogurt, Water, Cucumber, Mint leaves, Salt, Black salt

2nd Menu

ground), Tomato Paste¸Cooking Oil

4 Baamiyah (okra)  cups Okra, Tomatoes, Green pepper, Garlic cloves, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt

5 Bolani  Potatoes, chopped cilantro, chopped scallions (white and green parts), olive oil, salt, ground black
pepper

6 Drinks (Doogh)  Yogurt, Water, Cucumber, Mint leave, Salt, Black salt

Professional attire at job interviews is hugely important. The first impression interviewees put on
employers is the way they get dressed up. I have seen AUAF students who attend job interviews with
casual clothes, which most of the times causes to lose job opportunities.

If we cannot provide AUAF students with opportunities, at least we can help them in this regard. By
conducting “A Dress for Success Program” we will be able to help AUAF students with their job interviews.
The program will help students, especially scholarship students who struggle financially, with modern
suits to use and to impress employers when attending job interviews. We can provide a closet filled with
modern suits and professional attire for both male and female students. They can borrow these clothes
for attending local job interviews. To cover the cost, we can find a sponsor as there are a lot of people
interested in contributing. However, the cost for dry cleaning of the suits will be borne by students who
use them.

The student affairs department can run this program along with some interested students who will
volunteer. We can further discuss about this program in person and provide answers to the questions you
may have, if you could please give me the pleasure set an appointment.
