Professor Chan Kok Luk's biography and
employment history

According to his website, Professor Chan graduated


with a degree in Electronic Engineering (First Class
Honours) from Queen Mary and Westfield College,
University of London in 1987.
He obtained a diploma in Computer Vision from
Imperial College of Science, Technology and
Medicine, University of London. in 1991, followed
by a PhD in Robot Vision in the same year.
Professor Chan has been employed by the School of
Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang
Technological University since June, 1992.
Prior to his current employment, he was a Project
Manager with Axiom Innovation Ltd., Cambridge,
U.K.
He has lectured on topics such as Image Processing,
Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Real Time
Computer Systems and Fault Tolerant Systems
Professor Chan's research interests includes Image
Analysis and Computer Vision, Image and Video
Retrieval, as well as Biomedical Signal/Image
Analysis for Computer Assisted Diagnosis System
(CADS).
He has published more than 20 journal articles and
written more than 40 conference papers.
He lists music, travel, cooking, eating, and swimming
among his interests
