    Dear Sir,
    I am writing this letter on behalf of the residents of Barangay Fatima to complain about
    the improper waste disposal of garbage on the street pavements of our barangay.
    The main issue here is that the garbage collection truck does not come regularly to our
    barangay. As a result, an accumulation of garbage is piled on our street pavements. It is
    currently swarming with flies and has become the breeding place for mosquitoes. Stray
    animals would come and mess with the rubbish, tearing plastics into pieces and
    spreading the trash all over the place. In addition, the garbage is currently emitting a
    foul smell and is giving our barangay an awful image.
    To address this problem, I suggest that the garbage should be collected daily or at least
    on alternate days to prevent the accumulation of waste. Stern rules regarding waste
    disposal must be implemented and a monthly clean-up drive must be conducted. I am
    looking forward for a positive and immediate response regarding this matter.
