Kayla Andrews is a 21 year old black woman from Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a
senior business administration student who currently attends Duke university. She loves
to read and watch spoken word poetry on @buttonpoetry on instagram. She also
watches Slam poetry on youtube on the page Slamfind. She is also a proud plus size
woman and supports body positive accounts like model Tabria Majors. She is a fan of
bruno mars and listens to more pop and underground R&B music performed by singers
like Masego and The black onion. She wears natural hair and is big on wearing clothes
that are stylish but not pricey. and She is an academic and wants to own her own
business one day. She was raised in an upper middle class family and the majority of
her life she went to private school with white students. Because of this she tries to follow
more black positive pages like Adanna Maduke on youtube and DissociaDID. She
keeps up to date with the news by going on twitter looking on cnn page. She believes in
horoscopes and is an Aries so she follows the Aries twitter page. She secretly wanted to
go to an hbcu but her parents who are ivy league grads look down on those schools
feeling to fit into corporate america she has to go to a more mainstream school. They
own multiple business ventures and feel she will take their place in their business
dealings. She follows @HBCUCONFESSIONS on twitter so she can feel connected and
also goes to North carolina A&T homecomings. She recently pledged Alpha Kappa
Alpha and was elected their community engagement chair. She is an attractive woman
and to keep in shape she watches yoga videos on youtube on the page “Yoga with
Adrienne”.
