 Extreme Sports - Parkour

Parkour is a disciple of the most efficient and fastest way to get from point A to point B
using only the means of his own body.

Parkour is a physical discipline inspired by the movement of the human body. It focuses on
efficient, uninterrupted movement before, over, below, around and through obstacles (both
natural and artificial) in a given environment. Such movement can occur in the form of
running, jumping, climbing and more complex techniques. The purpose of the parkour is for
the practitioner to adapt his movement to any obstacle in his path.

At the base, Parkour is a natural method of training the body to be able to move quickly,
using the environment that surrounds us at any time and in any situation. This art of travel
requires neither specific structures nor accessories. The body is the only instrument with
which it works. It is an athletic discipline accessible to all because it combines all the natural
inclinations of the human body: running, jumping, climbing. It is a sport that allows you to
exploit the potential offered by your body.

The equipment required is just a shirt, a pair of light jogging pants and a pair of sneakers.

One man, David Belle, has devoted his life to the development of this art. Surrounded by a
family made up of sports champions, David practiced sports that were based on physical
exertion and allowed them to move efficiently (such as gymnastics, athletics, mountaineering
and martial arts).
