PROPOSAL
I. TITLE:
JOINED GAYONG-GAYONG SUR SCHOOL-BASED GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES
(GSP) ENCAMPMENT AND BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (BSP) CAMP-O-RAL.

II. AREAS OF CONCERN:

 Curriculum and Personality Development.
 Physical, mental, and behavioral development of scouters.

III. SUBJECT CLIENTILE:

Participants to these activities are registered:
 Kid Scouts, Kab Scouts, Boy Scouts, Senior Scouts and Rover Scouts physically fit
for outdoor activities.
 Star Scouts, Junior and Senior Scouts

IV. DATE:
November 29(5:00pm) – November 30- December 1, 2017

V. BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines is the largest Scout organizations in the
world in terms of membership count due to the organization’s dependence on the
Department of Education. Scouting help the youth to develop values and acquire
competencies to become responsible citizens and capable leaders anchored on the Scout
Oath and Law.

Scouting programs in accordance with the National celebration of Scouting month,

the school is conducting BSP Camp-O-ral and GSP Encampment on November 29-30,
2017 at Gayong-Gayong Sur Integrated School, Gayong-Gayong Sur, City of Ilagan with the
Theme: “Every Scouter is a LEADER” to prepare and empower scouts and scouters.

VI. OBJECTIVES:
The program aims to:
1. To instill and to live scout ideals among scouts and scouters.
2. To prepare the youth to become agents of change in communities, guided by
the Scout Oath and Law.
3. To expose the scouts to outdoor activities useful for self-reliance.
4. To gain skills for survival.

IX. BUDGET COST/RESOURCES NEEDED:

 A. A camp registration fee of Twenty Pesos (Php 20.00) will be charged each participant
to defray expenses for certificates, trophies and other incidental to the administration
of the activities.
B. All elementary boy scouts/girl scouts participants are registered thru EASE program
of the local government of the City of Ilagan.
C. Secondary participants are registered thru their own expense.
D. Staff, Stakeholders, Barangay Officials and Parents support.
