Is this the American Dream

I’m up and running
Getting the girls and husband ready for the day.
I go outside, wondering which luxurious car to take.
Arriving and getting a surprise,
A promotion for being the best zoologist out there
I put my gloves on, examining the problem
A dog in pain on the table.
He is saved, a grand applause from my team
Exhausted from my dream job,
Arriving at my dream house,
Getting my keys, ready to open the door
I see a bright light,I open my eyes,
And realizing where I am
Was this the American Dream?
