• Implemented a modified k-means based approach to segment images from album scans and an autoencoder to recolor photographs
• Restored photographs were 60% more likely to be picked against manually corrected photographs

SeeSharp , Winning Entry for Goldman Sachs ABLE India Contest September 2015 - October 2015
• Developed an android application and a web interface to help the visually impaired read printed text (road signs, medicine bottles)
• The android app is almost real-time, reads out word by word, works offline, and can also be used to read out pages from books
• Currently being developed into a full fledged navigation aid, with more features (vernacular,handwriting detection, auto-correct)
