Reflection:

Educational Facilities refers to all physical properties of a school,

consisting of the grounds, buildings and the various facilities within the
school grounds and inside the school buildings. As leader in school they
should know the importance of educational facilities, they do not only
provide housing for the school but also serve as facilitating agents for all
the educational activities that takes place in pre-school.

A School plant management involves a number of on-going and

related activities determining the need for school plants. School plant
planning is very important because this will be the process in which a
functional educational programme is developed and suitable site is chosen.

But the most important consideration in making a school plant is that

first is to have school mapping to determine the size and spacing of
building and other physical facilities requirements per optimum utilization
and benefit. This also covers the specific areas for expansion and
improvement of facilities following the steps in school mapping like the
standard size of building of the distance. All school facilities must be
grouped/classify according to their used and importance to ensure the strict
standards of the facilities.
