Application
The KRIWAN motor protector INT369 R serves as a comprehensive
protection of an electric motor against too high motor winding tempe-
ratures from temperature monitoring with PTC thermistors. These are
embedded in the motor winding.
Operation with undervoltage, devices in "dual voltage" construction au-
tomatically recognise the value of the adjoining supply voltage (AC 120/
240V), a preceding external selection is not necessary. The large ambi-
ent temperature range as well as a high availability complete the advan-
tages of this sturdy device positively.

Functional description
If the winding temperature nears the response temperature of the PTC
thermistors, the increased sensor resistance is perceived by the
INT369 R. If the tripping value is exceeded the output relay drops out
immediately and locks out.
Reset is achieved by interrupting the supply voltage for at least 5 sec,
provided that the fault condition has been corrected. Sensor and mains

circuit are galvanically insulated.
