To Whom It May Concern:

I had the privilege of educating Himani Sullhan in her second semester medical and surgical clinical rotation.
I knew immediately upon meeting her that she was going to make a great nurse someday. She has an
aptitude for learning and retaining pathophysiology, Himani excelled at utilization of evidence-based
nursing processes, and she has a great bedside manner that patients found approachable. Himani is a hard
worker and will be a great fit for a mother/baby, labor and delivery, or women’s health unit.

Himani exemplifies the attributes that a young nurse should have. She is hard working and motivated to
learn. She is a Wildcat Excellence Scholarship Award, Intel Youth Achievement Scholarship, and Hodnette
Scholarship Endowment recipient. She also has over 390 clinical hours from care environments who
specialize in caring for mothers and babies. She is a well-rounded individual that has a sincere dedication to
the nursing profession.

When Himani is not studying, she enjoys spending time with her family and she has been practicing
Bollywood dance since age 4. She also has a philanthropic heart, with volunteer hours spent in Tanzania
working with a community health project to improve the community. She has life balance that allowed her
to always come to clinical prepared to work hard, contribute to group discussions, and engage with her
patients. I know she will continue this exemplary work ethic.

From day one Himani has wanted to be a part of a high performing nursing unit that cares for women and
children. Himani will become the kind of nurse that will integrate into a multidisciplinary team and really
collaborate with her peers to provide top quality, patient-centered care.

I ask that you consider Himani Sullhan for employment at your hospital. She is exactly the type of student
that embodies all of the core principles that make becoming a health care professional so special.

Very Respectfully,

Kajsa Michelle Pyers
