Dear Phillip,

I am really glad to welcome you to my country, my name is Madeleine Martinez and my

family, who are really exciting about you and get to know you, are kind and fun, they
always have too much love to give.

My dad´s name is Ricardo and my Mom´s Marla, I have two brothers, who are quite happy
to see you soon. we know only a little bit of New Zealand and we are very interested that
you can teach us about your culture, that's why we decided to enroll in this exchange
program.

I'm going to tell you about Colombia where people always are happy, always whit a smile
and joy in their hearts, we have beautiful beaches and landscapes that I’m sure you are
going to enjoy, the weather is a bit hot but you could enjoy the sunny days with wind, It is
tradition for us to celebrate the carnival of Barranquilla, which is full of colors, costumes,
and dances.

During your stay here, we can visit many places that you will love, the tayrona park, which
is full of beaches and nature, the mountain of Santa Isabel, which is a pretty cold place
and the Chicamocha park that is a cultural park located in Bucaramanga.

Although transportation is complicated in the afternoon, which is time of departure from

work for most people here, I know that we will enjoy every moment in the country.
