Informational Flyer

The informational flyer is a one or two page (generally letter or legal size) document which may serve both a referernce
and instructional purpose. It may be folded for mailing, but is intended to be read and posted as a flat page. Either the
short or long edge may be the vertical. The flyer assembles a great deal of information in a small space. They are often
set up as tables - in multiple columns. Flyers are often found posted on office bulletin boards, on walls above desks, or in
desk drawers. When people use them, they usually only want one or two pieces of information at a time, for example a
location or phone number. The document may be kept for reference purposes for a long period of time. Your assignment
is to create a flyer displaying at least four distinct types of information, sized, styled, and positioned appropriately on one
side of page. You should demonstrate at least two of the following skills: flush left, flush right, centering, justification.
You must use the page layout application, InDesign.
