Experiment

Start with an attention grabber: Turn on ears, zip our mouths, and
put our looking glasses. Discuss quiet coyote, and my expectations.
Have materials set
Prompting question: When I say “go” in your pod groups I would like

Now we are going to do an experiment. We are going to turn off the
lights, close the blinds, and I am going to shine a flashlight onto a
mirror sitting in a container of water. Before we start, I want you to
predict what is going to happen by thinking in your head.

While I am showing you the experiment, I want you to remember


what you are seeing, and afterwards draw it on the piece of paper
that I am going to give you. This is called an observation.
