A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AUGMENTATION OF FUNDS FOR 14TH MONTH PAY OF

BARANGAY OFFICIALS OF BARANGAY MANINGNING IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF
115,800 TO BE TAKEN FROM HONORARIA-PERSONAL SERVICES FUND.

Whereas, it is stated under Republic Act no. 7160 otherwise known as “Local Government Code
of 1991” that under “Section 391. Powers, Duties, and Functions. - (a) The Sangguniang Barangay,
as the legislative body of the Barangay, shall:
(3) Enact annual and supplemental budgets in accordance with the provisions of this Code;

(10) Provide compensation, reasonable allowances or per diems as well as travel expenses
for Sangguniang Barangay members and other Barangay officials, subject to the
budgetary limitations prescribed under Title Five, Book II of this Code: Provided,
however, That no increase in the compensation or honoraria of the Sangguniang
Barangay members shall take effect until after the expiration of the full term of all
members of the Sangguniang Barangay.

Whereas, 14th month pay is a monetary benefit that shall be paid not later than December 24th of
every calendar year.

Whereas, the remaining fund of honoraria for personal services is allocated for Indigenous People
Representative as barangay ex-officio member.

Whereas, there is no resident and a member of Indigenous People living in Barangay Maningning,
Puerto Princesa City.

Whereas, the allocated fund of honoraria for personal services of Indigenous People representative
is still not being utilized as of the present.

Whereas, the abovementioned allocated fund shall be augmented for 14th month pay of barangay
officials of Barangay Maningning.

NOW THEREFORE, on the motion of Hon. Rael E. Fuertes and unanimously decided by all the members
present, be it;

Resolved that, “A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AUGMENTATION OF FUNDS FOR 14TH

MONTH PAY OF BARANGAY OFFICIALS OF BARANGAY MANINGNING IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF 115,800 TO BE TAKEN FROM HONORARIA-PERSONAL SERVICES FUND”,
hereby approved.
FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the City Mayor, the Sangguniang
Panlungsod, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, and other concerned agencies, for their
information and guidance.
