MAHATMA GANDHI
1. Describe Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi is an Indian lawyer, politician, social activist, and writer
who became the founder of the nationalist movement against India's British rule.
As a result became to be his country's dad and greatest leader of all time.
Gandhi's nonviolent protest to achieve political and social change is widely
respected. During the day, he could hardly work or rest at night. Throughout his
lifetime, his reputation spread throughout the world and grew only after his
death.

2. What is the result of Gandhi’s “Non Violence Revolution”

He is raising and leading a campaign called the nonviolence revolution

over India, showing and empowering his fellow citizens to be independent
against the British regime in such a way that no such killing, rioting, and
it will be done in a peaceful manner. During the aforementioned uprising,
however, there are still uncounted protests and killings. Nevertheless,
British soldiers are still abussing the people. However, with Gandhi's
dedication and passion for his beloved country, he fought for his the
revolution until his very last breath which leads to the awaken of his
country and later on the British gave the Indian's the authority to govern
their own country.

3. Have you observe unusual beliefs or practice by Indians as

presented in the film.

Indeed, I see in the movie how they depict the Indian people before, I saw
that there are hierarchs where there are classes of people; high, middle
and lower classes where this kind of class were mostly homeless people,
where time slavery was very common in society and most people were
afraid of fighting for their justice and freedom. Furthermore, what I saw in
the film about Gandhi is that he is in line with Hinduism but that he still
considers each religion to be equal and that he respected them. I've learned
about India's different cultures and traditions as well as its own
independence history.
4. How would you find Nehru and Jinnah? Who are they?
Jinnah and Nehru were both among the Muslim League and are great
leaders who wanted India and Pakistan to be independent. As Gandhi
began his non-violent protest, there are also people who supported his
cause, and there are also people who only used the situation for their own
self-interest, and there are Nehru who is an Indian lawyer, and Jinnah
who is a Muslim lawyer who has his inner desire, which is why he meets
Gandhi for his reason.

5. What is your reflection about the film you think is/are

significant to you as future onboard cadet?

As a future maritime leader, as a product of MOL

behaviors and attitudes and that we are motivated by Mahatma
Gandhi's story where he only dreamed of having peace with his
country, for the betterment of everyone he fought for what was
right and what had to be done only to bring peace to his people
