PO2 Able to Identify, formulate, conduct research literature and analyse

complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using
first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences
(WK1 to WK4)

DESCRIPTION

You are required to identify a completed project in Malaysia as a focused case for this
assignment. Students have to review all materials published in newspaper, magazine,
refereed journal, or any reliable source of references. Each student needs to ensure different
project is selected across the class.
Students have to identify, summarize the project, and analyze challenges faced by the
company/ project team in any FIVE (5) project management life cycle (Initiation, Planning,
Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Project Closing) for the selected project. Student
are also advised to review the projects challenges based on the TEN (10) PMBOK (Project
Management Body of Knowledge). Students have to analyze overall input for the project and
formulate and propose some solutions for the project. Present your written work in a form of
an individual booklet. Students have to submit the booklet in the form of hard and soft copy.
The project booklet will be marked/ assessed by referring to rubrics of assessment as
highlighted in Table 1- Assignment 1 Assessment Rubric.
You may refer to multiple references in order to complete the work. Please take note: -
