PROJECT PROPOSAL
The proponents of this project, Iskolar ng Lungsod Council headed by; Ms. Kimberly
Capule, ILC-Adviser, Mr. Ernie T. MIllave, Kultura at Sining ng Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng
Tanauan, Adviser, Ms. Carla Anne V. Macaraig, Program Coordinator.
IV. BACKGROUND/RATIONALE:
In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, otherwise
known as the Higher Education Act No. of 1994., Batas Pambansa 232 and Resolution No.
321-2013 of the Commission en banc dated April 8, 2013, The Commission on Higher
Education, pursuant to its commitment to the utmost achievement of quality, relevant and
efficient higher education in the country, hereby adopted and promulgated the following
Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on Student Affairs and Services, which define the scope,
procedures, the extent of the regulations as well as the mechanics of evaluating student
welfare and activities for students enrolled in higher education (HEIs).
The students’ enjoyment of their rights shall be balanced by the exercise of accountability
and social responsibility, that is, for everybody right enjoyed, there is a corresponding duty
and accountability.
Student Development Services refers to the services and programs designed for the
exploration, enhancement and development of the student’s full potential for personal
development, leadership and social responsibility through various institutional and/or
student-initiated activities.
The proposed project will offer organized for the PASKUHAN 2019. The activity will be a 1
day event on December 16, 2019 at Gym 2, Tanauan City, Batangas.

Contest Mechanics
Students Eligibility
Bona fide students of Tanauan City Colleges, currently enrolled on the Academic Year
2019-2020 may join the contest. Outsiders are not allowed.
Each band is composed of three (3) to five (5) members whether all male, all female, or
mixed, within the same section/strand or not.
Registration
Duly accomplished Registration forms, title and lyrics of 1 warm-up song (printed on short
bond paper), signed by all members of the band, must be submitted on or before
November 15, 2019
Incomplete registration is a ground for disqualification.

Program Proper
Contestants shall participate in the competition on December 16, 2019
Each band must perform one warm-up song they prepared (approved by the committee),
and the contest piece provided by the committee. (related to the theme)
Participating bands must bring their own guitars, distortions, keyboards, jacks, beat box,
improvised musical instruments and other gadgets on the day of the performance.
Sound system shall be provided by School.
Any damage done to any equipment provided is the responsibility of the participating group.
The criteria for judging the performance will be as follows:

Dance Battle
Contest Mechanics
Students Eligibility
Bona fide students of Tanauan City Colleges, currently enrolled on the Academic Year
2019-2020 may join the contest. Outsiders are not allowed.
Each dance group is composed of fifth teen (15) members above whether all male, all
female, or mixed, within the same program or not.
Registration
Duly accomplished Registration forms, signed by all members of the group, must be
submitted on or before November 15,2019
Incomplete registration is a ground for disqualification.

CRITERIA WEIGHT
Technique - The degree of body control 30%
and mastery of steps and positions
Dynamics - It is the variations in the force 30%
and intensity of movement
Design/ Creativity - The arrangement of 30%
movements according to a pattern
Costume – Shows creativity, and pleasant 10%
to the performance

The target participants are the TCC College & Senior High School Students who are
certified enrolled by the Office of the Registrar, and Faculty and Staff.

The budgetary requirement of Php 295,000.00 will provide for the participants and includes:

All expenses for this activity will be coming from the students through collections of empty
glass bottles, private individuals, solicitations from government officials and establishments.
P250.00 will be collected from the students for their foods, catering services, tarpaulin printing
for backdrop, and stage decoration.

The activity will be evaluated by the participants and the result will be bases for crafting
programs and activities in TCC that are concerned with academic support experiences to attain
