I am a Professor of Chemistry at the Department of
Chemistry of the Sardar Patel University, India. I am a member of the Editorial Board of Arkivoc and International Journal of Bioorganic Chemistry, USA. I have 22 and 10 years’ of rich experience in teaching and research respectively. I have worked in the area of organic chemistry for the last 10 years; my research interests include development of bioactive heterocyclic scaffolds via multicomponent reactions, with a focus on green chemistry approaches and medicinal chemistry, including synthesis of small molecules, virtual and biomolecular screening. I have been granted two projects to a tune of rupees 51.81 lakh from National agencies like Department for Science & Technology -Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) and University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. I published 22 research and review papers and three books. I received Distinguished Faculty in Science Award 2017 by Venus International Foundation, India.
