● Planned social events for building residents and facilitated the allocation of yearly funding to
address residents’ needs and ideas.

● Facilitated team-building activities for a group of returning and transfer students, and offered

RESEARCH AND PRESENTATIONS
UROP, University of Michigan September 2016-April 2017
● Contributed to a longitudinal sociology study by analyzing the details of misconduct policies of
US colleges, and ultimately presented findings at an end-of-year symposium.
ChangzLab, University of Michigan January 2019
● Collaborated with a team of research assistants on the proofreading and survey design of a cross-
cultural psychological study of coping and depression.
Social Minds Lab, University of Michigan May-August 2019
● Assisted graduate students and faculty in recruiting and scheduling participants for child social
psychology studies, helped run studies in both lab and field settings, and transcribed video
footage. Educated participants, their families, and the local community on the importance of
psychological research.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan June-August 2018
● Supervised preschool-aged children with autism who were participating in an early intervention
program, and communicated with parents to help their children reach developmental milestones.
Washtenaw Promise, Ypsilanti, MI September 2019-present
● Conducted interviews with local preschool educators to determine common barriers to learning
within their respective classrooms and districts. Organized a written summary for the organization
containing potential methods to address the most recurrent problems that were present.
