AN INTRODUCTION SPEECH TO THE GUEST SPEAKER

The price of success is hardwork, dedication to the job at

hand and the determination that whether we win or lose we

have applied the best efforts of ourselves to fulfill the task at

hand and a dream doesnt become a reality through magic, it

takes sweat, determination and hardwork. Even if your not

fine today, have a day that matters, because life is always a

choice.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am greatly honored and privileged

today because our guest speaker is not strange to us

especially to me since we are closely related by blood. Guess

why?, her mother is the younger sister of my mother.

Therefore we are first-degree-cousins. And this is the main

reason that I am requested to introduce her as guest speaker

for today’s 119th Philippine Independence Day Celebration

with the theme “Kalayaan 2017: Pagbabagong Sama-Samang

Balikatin.” Our guest speaker is very credible and competent

enough to share her insights on the essence of the theme later.


She was born on September 5, 1973 with Mr. and Mrs.

Protacio and Teresita Saluta. She is happily married to Mr.

Florendo Ramo and blessed with children Rend Franchesca

and Jann Florendo. She was born in Centro Napu but she is

now residing in Sebac, Tudela, Misamis Occidental.

About her educational background she graduated her

Elementary at Tudela Central School last 1985. Her

Secondary at San Isidro Academy in the year 1989. In 1993

she finished her degree in Bachelor in Elementary Education

major in English at ICC Ozamiz City. This year 2017 she

finished her Master of Arts in Educational Management at

Sourthern Mindanao Colleges,Pagadian City.

Her summary of qualifications include:

Because of her utmost desire for excellence and great

passion for self enrichment she was sent to various

International and National trainings thereby qualify her to be

a regional trainor when she came back, to name a few: those

recent ones 1. National Training of Trainors on

Developmentally Appropriate Practices in Early Language

Literacy and Numeracy St. Giles Hotel Makati City 2.

International conference on inclusive education and Mother

Tongue Based Multilingual Education, Manila.

Our guest speaker, today ladies and gentlemen is an

extraordinary teacher because she is a writer herself.

She authored a book entitled “Isang Wika, MTB – MLE

series in Binisaya Multicultural Worktext published by REX

Bookstore Inc. A writer in Grade 3 teacher’s guide, feature

writer “Salabok sa MisOcc Official Publication of Northern


Mindanao Athletic Association Meet 2015, Writer; Big Book

and Poems for Grade 2 in Mother Tongue.

Now therefore with my great respect and salute for her

exemplary experiences and rare acheivement that models

excellence and competence. I am proud to present to you, our

guest speaker, the lady of the hour in this 119th Philippine

Independence Anniversary Celebration..

MRS. MARY JANE SALUTA RAMO, shall we welcome her

a great round of applause.
